The debate as to who wins 2012-13 Premier League player of the year will likely come down to a decision between three very difficult attacking talents—Robin van Persie of Manchester United, Tottenham’s Gareth Bale and Luis Suarez of Liverpool.

I'm wondering, am I the only one who thinks Bale is wildly overrated? In my opinion, Bale being British gives him a huge advantage over the other contenders. He's having a good run of form, but I want to see him consistently perform before he gets the player of the year award. Van Persie was great the first half of the season, but this half Suarez has been better. But, in my eyes, it's clearly between the two and shouldn't include Bale.

Personally I would say Suarez deserves it the most. Suarez is the Premier League’s top scorer with 21 goals. The Uruguayan has been deadly in front of goal and his tireless work-rate had added considerably to Liverpool’s effort. With him, Brendan Rodgers has overseen a mediocre campaign with several highlights. Without him, Liverpool would be in serious trouble.

Who do you think should win the PFA player of the year? Bale, Suarez, RVP or someone else? Have you say below.
