Ugandan bowlers dried up the runs and took wickets at regular intervals throughout the Nepali innings to restrict the Asian side to an indefensible total, and win the match by six wickets.

With the loss, Nepal's chances of qualifying for the 2014 remains only a mathematical possibility. While Uganda top the points table of the ICC World Cricket League Division III with 4 points, the US, Oman, and Bermuda are place second, third and fourth. Italy, also yet to win a match, are also ahead of Nepal based on net run rate.

Earlier in the day, Nepal won the toss and elected to bat first at the Somerset Cricket ground in Bermuda. With the score at 33-0, opener Subash Khakurel (5) was bowled out. After that none of the Nepali batsmen could occupy the crease for long. Wickets fell almost every 5 overs, as the African side turned the screw on Nepali batsmen -- denying them boundaries and even singles.

Pradeep Airee (24) was the highest scorer for Nepal. Five batsmen, including skipper Paras Khadka, could not reach double figures. The team was bundled out for 116 in 44.2 overs.

Uganda cruised to the 117 -run target in 27 overs with six wickets in hand. Although Nepali bowlers give some tough resistance, the 117-run target was never enough to put Uganda in a spot of bother.
